Kate Quakenbush
Kate brings more than 17 years’ experience in marketing, sales, and product management to Stage One Partners.
Prior to joining the company, Kate served as VP of Marketing for IdeaBlade, a leader in .NET tools and infrastructure. Prior to this, Kate was Director of Mobile Enterprise Solutions at Sybase, where she researched, scoped, developed and launched a mobile application framework for the telecommunications, utility, and manufacturing markets. Previously, Kate built carrier, SI, ISV, and hardware partner relationships for the Sybase iAnywhere division in her role as Director of Marketing there. Prior to this, she served as Director of Marketing for OnDisplay, where she recruited and managed the marketing team that helped drive OnDisplay to become the 6th largest IPO in 1999. She has also served in marketing management positions at Vignette and Mercado Software.
Kate holds a B.A. with honors in Rhetoric from the University of California at Berkeley.
