Mark Selfe

Mark Selfe directs design services for Stage One, bringing many years of experience in creating corporate identities, collateral, packaging, websites, advertising and direct marketing campaigns. Mark has worked in the international design community with clients ranging from Fortune 100 companies to newly emerging startups, and understands how their needs and requirements vary from project to project. Over the years, Mark has worked closely with Kit Hinrichs, Lowell Williams, Mervyn Kurlansky, John McConnell, Linda Hinrichs and Neil Shakery, honing his skills and vision in print, 3D and electronic design.

Mark spent six years with Pentagram Design in both their London and San Francisco studios. He then became an art director for Mark Anderson Design in Palo Alto, a respected and seasoned Silicon Valley 2D and 3D design house whose clients have included Apple, Sun, Frame (now Adobe), 3DO and other technology leaders. In 1996, Mark started his own design studio where he served over 50 clients including Visa International, Coca Cola, Bechtel, Pacific Bell, Airtouch, Pete’s Brewing Company, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, Royal Viking Lines, Northstar-at-Tahoe, Broderbund, Connetics, Geron, as well as a variety of Silicon Valley startups.

Mark was born, raised and educated in England and is a graduate of the London Design Institute.
